Our Pastors
Dr. Kevin and Melody Wells
Kevin and Melody Wells moved to New Oxford in October 2015 to serve as the Lead Pastors of Family Life Church.
Kevin and Melody have three children—two daughters, Sarah and Cindy, and one son, Kevin Jr.—along with four grandchildren: Lillian Grace, Spencer Joseph, Victoria Hope, and Xander Dennis. Their household also includes Oliver, their miniature schnauzer—who clearly runs the house.
Kevin has been in full-time ministry for just over 30 years, serving in a variety of churches and leadership roles. He carries a deep passion for raising up next-generation leaders within the local church. In addition to pastoring, Kevin provides Life and Leadership Coaching and Church Consulting, helping others grow into their God-given potential.
Kevin earned his Master of Arts in Church Leadership and Discipleship from Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He also holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Life Coaching from Liberty University, along with a Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership from Liberty University.
Kevin is also a published author. You can learn more about his writing, coaching, and resources at **[www.kevinwells.com](http://www.kevinwells.com)**.
Melody has faithfully served in ministry throughout her life and works alongside Kevin in the area of pastoral care and counseling. She leads the GriefShare ministry in both the church and the community, helping individuals navigate seasons of loss with compassion and biblical truth. Melody is a Church of God licensed minister and a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Christian Ministry and Counseling at Lee University and holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling as well as a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University. Melody is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling, continuing her passion to help others heal and become who God created them to be.
Melody is also a published author. You can learn more about her writing and ministry at **[www.melodywells.com](http://www.melodywells.com)**.
Together, Kevin and Melody are passionate about strengthening the local church and raising it to a new level. Their heart is to reach across racial, generational, and denominational lines to build the Kingdom of God throughout the Adams and York County regions.
